Everyone is aware that kiteboarding is an expensive sport. We have therefore decided to offer the MITU MONTEIRO pro model surf as a convertible version in sizes 5'6" / 5'8" / 5'10". This 2in1 version is equipped with Twin Tracks.
The deep concave on the bottom of the board provides great acceleration to lift off easily while the proven rocker and outline of the board make the transitions really easy and progressive when they are done on the water. The large pad designed for strapless riding enable a wide riding stance for maximum comfort and stability.
With its very efficient and all-around shape combined with the HD FOAM FLEX COMPOSITE construction, the surf MITU PRO FLEX CONVERTIBLE is the perfect board to stop worrying about missing a session without loading your quiver.
HD FOAM FLEX COMPOSITE
The introduction of this construction has marked a major change into the F-ONE surfboard range and especially on our three key products.
To face the ever higher contrains applied by the riders on their surfkites F-ONE has engineered a new foam composite construction with optimized flex for maximum reliability, comfort and manoeuvrability. The mechanical characteristics achieved by this construction provide a lighter weight and a perfect surfboard feel.
HEEL SHOCK ABSORBER
The deck has been recessed by 5 mm on a wide area underneath the front foot in order to add an EVA shock absorbing foam layer.
This foam layer absorbs effectively all impacts for the riders and makes the board even more durable.
The twin track system with lateral spacing of 90mm is becoming an industry standard.
As the strapless discipline develops and grows, so does the demands it puts on the boards.
With higher jumps and tougher landings, the stresses applied to the boards have migrated towards the rails and we have reinforced some of our constructions with lateral deck stringers to make the boards more robust in these areas. These stringers are not full depth to keep the flex and feel of the board.
RTM technology stands for RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING. This procedd uses a closed mold to produce accurate composite parts.
The resin is injected in the mold after it is closed, with the dry fiber having been placed inside beforehand. The closed mold injection allows for great shape accuracy and the epoxy resin used make the fins stronger and more responsive providing a sharper feel on the water.
